Emmanuel points me to www.blogotheque.net.
Generally when someone emails me about music I just forward it to my music
blog.
Then when I'm next in an internet cafe, check the blog, and download it to
my flash drive.
Usually while I'm uploading pictures to flickr or something similar.

Think that's laborious? The net is slow here.
Back in 2000 when I began doing web sites, it was all via floppy disc. And
in the heat and dust here, a floppy disc can die inside of one day, no joke!
There have been times when I've had to email a crucial document for work and
then 'poof'. It disappears.
